Award Winning Web Designs The question everyone first asks about websites, is "How much will it cost?" The answer is difficult to give you because the cost depends on many factors. A site can cost just about anything -- from a few hundred dollars to many thousands! A web site can be one single page, or it can be a complex extravaganza with on-line sales products, sophisticated search capabilities, ecommerce, interactive custom programming and more. Sites which I design will be only informational, hobby or small business sites. I do not do gaming, interactive or ecommerce sites. I will also not do anything other than G rated sites. ie. no porn or sites with "iffy" content. OUR COSTS. First Page of Design - $400 This covers the creative design of your layout, background and borders unique to your site, colors, navigational links for the flow of your website and the use of our own graphics if you need them etc. It also covers our top ten search engine investigation and coding of your website. Your opening page will always be your most involved page and one which must attract attention. After all, this is why you are having a site made - to be seen and attract attention to your farm, business or hobby. Subsequent pages will often be a little less fancy. Subsequent Page Cost - usually about $100 Some further pages (those which come after your opening page) simply do not take as long to design and therefore would be discounted to pricing that could be as little as $75 per page, while other pages may be priced at closer to $150+ if you wish for something very fancy or involved much like your opening page. Once we communicate with you, we can narrow down an estimate to fit your budget and get an idea of how many pages you would need. Most people don't usually need more than 5 - 10 pages in a given site. However, every site is different and each page is different, so it's extrmely difficult to give an absolute price break-down, until I see what you have in mind. Costs can be also kept down, if you provide all the necessary text and pictures already cropped and properly sized. Website Maintenance and other costs. I will do all Website Maintenance monthly for $50 per year. Website maintenance is a must for all websites. There is nothing worse than visiting sites where half the pictures are missing. I will check each and every page on your site each month, whether or not you have made any changes. I will check that all links work and still link to the page or site they were meant to. People often change sites and other's take over, so it's important that links are checked constantly, to make sure they are now not pointing to some "iffy" site which you didn't intend. I will code and submit your site to all of the search engines at no extra charge. Changes you desire to website pages already made for you. You may make one free picture or text change per month. Two or more added photos/text etc. will be charged at $15 per hour. (One hour minimum) Unless more involved changes are requested ie. new borders/backgrounds etc. most page changes ie. change of photos or added text, should not take longer than one hour. Custom borders/backgrounds/logos/buttons etc. made from your choice of pictures and graphics, will be charged at $20 per hour. However, you will probably find that I have already, many designs and graphics which you would like. I do not charge for most picture touch-ups, cropping, tinting etc. However, if something involved will be extremely time consuming, I will charge a $15 fee.
