Golden Gypsy Horses of the Present Page One
Since there are so many wonderful examples of the breed, it
will be impossible to show them all here.
However, we offer for your interest, some photos of the Great
Stallions of the present. They are some who have already made
their mark upon the breed. You might find their names on the
pedigrees of your own horses. As we find them, more
pedigree information will be added, but please know, since
the Gypsies seldom named their horses, true pedigrees cannot
easily be found. Pedigrees shown on these pages are as true
as I have currently discovered. However, as time goes on
I will sometimes have to change them or add to them as necessary.

Here is a wonderful old stallion who appears in many pedigrees of
some of the "greats" of our breed. He is the sire of
stallions such as SD Farms Chief and also the great Samson of
Wales. Remember he is pictured here out in the field with no
grooming. Can you imagine all that feather if it were brushed
and fluffed? Our thanks to Loretta who took this pic for us
of this great old horse.

The Old Horse of Wales |
Since this is a young horse who has not yet proven himself
as the sire of great offspring, you might wonder why I have
added him to this page. Well it's because I think he will
be one of "The Greats" in time! He's a Grandson and Great
Grandson
of the Old Horse of Wales (above) and proudly owned by SD Farms.
Just goes to show you what a good linebred pedigree can produce!
